What Are Sublimation Transfers?

Sublimation transfers use special sublimation ink that turns into a gas when heated. Instead of sitting on top of the material like vinyl or some other printing methods, the ink permanently dyes the sublimation-compatible surface.

The result is a smooth, vibrant print with no heavy or raised feel.

Sublimation is especially popular for full-color designs, photographs, logos, patterns, and personalized products.

What Can Sublimation Transfers Be Used On?

Sublimation transfers cannot be applied to just any product. Your blank must be specifically designed or coated for sublimation.

Important: Sublimation works best on white or light-colored surfaces. Standard cotton shirts and ordinary, uncoated products are not suitable for traditional sublimation transfers.

Arrange one large design or fit multiple smaller designs onto your sheet to make the most of the available print area.

You WILL Need a Heat Press

These are transfers only and must be applied using a heat press.

A household iron is not recommended. Sublimation requires consistent time, temperature, and pressure to properly transfer the image.

Always follow the recommended pressing instructions for the specific sublimation blank you are using. Different products may require different temperatures, pressures, and pressing times.
